The first written record of Bodza dates from 1268. The village of 371 residents supports young families with a kindergarten and twenty-two rental homes.

Bodza is a small, close-knit village. Its seniors’ club and local Csemadok organisation animate community life through Bodza Day, Children’s Day and a traditional goulash competition.
